When funding is available, grants help meet emergency needs that would prevent students from continuing their education.
Emergency assistance is coordinated through the Advising and Counseling Office. Please contact Michelle Barre, Program Assistant in Building 17, Room 150 or at 253-589-5583.
Emergency funds have been donated by CPTC employees, their families and many other individuals interested in helping students succeed.

- These funds will cover emergency needs up to $200.
- Funds may not be used for tuition, books or supplies. We encourage students to apply for Financial Aid and scholarships to help with these expenses.
- Checks will be made payable to the company owed.
- Grant recipients will write a letter of thanks to the Foundation Board about how the grant money helped them to stay in college, complete their program and achieve their goals.
