We are celebrating National Coming Out Day (October 11) a day early on Thursday, October 10 with cupcakes and condoms! Join us from 2-4pm in Building 23 as we give out free cupcakes and condoms (while supplies last), and increase awareness, conversations, resources, and opportunities for equality and wellness.

The Department of Student Life is excited to host their annual Pumpkin Carving event on Tuesday, October 22 from 6-8pm in the Building 23 Atrium. This event is open to all current CPTC student plus one free guest! Current CPTC students who successfully RSVP to this event will receive one free pumpkin and one carving kit, plus one for their registered guest.
RSVP is required as supplies are limited. The RSVP form will go live Friday, October 4. Be sure to sign up as space is limited.
Please note: pumpkins that will be provided are craft pumpkins as this will allow you to keep your pumpkin for years to come!

Did you know that ONE pint of blood can save THREE lives? Student Life is partnering with Bloodworks Northwest to host a blood drive on Wednesday, October 23. Students, employees, and community members can sign up to donate blood between 9am-3pm. Sign up is preferred, though walk-ins may be available. Our goal is to secure 51 donors. Help us reach that goal and sign up for a spot today!
- All current CPTC students (taking classes in fall 2024) who sign up for a spot, and show up to their appointment, will receive a $15 AMC Movie gift card.
- Donors ages 16-17 will need their parent or guardian to sign a permission form in advance. Permission forms are available at the Student Leadership & Service Center (SLSC).

Movie Nights are back!
We asked students to vote on the fall movie and we're excited to share that Inside Out 2 was the winner!
Please join Student Life on Friday, November 1 in Building 23 for what is sure to be a fun filled night. Doors open at 6pm (ice cream & photos) and the movie starts promptly at 6:30pm.
This event is open to all current CPTC students, faculty, staff, and UNLIMITED guests! There will be an ice cream bar, coloring pages, and a custom photobooth at the event.
A variety of seating arrangements will be available including theater style (chairs only), banquet style (tables & chairs), and open space for you to bring your own blankets, pillows, bean bags, etc.
RSVP is preferred to ensure we provide enough light refreshments to all.

Join us as we honor all who served in the United States Armed Forces by attending Clover Park Technical College’s annual Veterans Day Ceremony taking place on Thursday, November 7 at 2:30pm in the ballroom of the McGavick Conference Center.
