Welcome to the Rainier Room, a unique restaurant located within the prestigious culinary arts program at Clover Park Technical College. At the Rainier Room, we combine the essence of a fine dining experience with the innovation and creativity fostered by our culinary arts program.

Our restaurant serves as a training ground for our aspiring chefs, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their skills and culinary artistry. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, our students craft exceptional dishes that showcase their talent and passion for the culinary arts.

Specials menus are created exclusively by our advanced students to showcase all they have learned.

Hours

The Rainier Room is open for lunch Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. when classes are in session.

Menu

Our menus change quarterly, with a specials menu entirely designed by advanced students changing every two weeks.

 

Reservations

For lunch reservations call 253-589-5889 or use the reservations widget on the right margin. Reservations can be made thirty days in advance. We are closed between quarters, approximately three to four weeks for the students break and training.

Please understand if you call, students are in classes all over campus or online and do not monitor the phone. Phone messages will be checked Wednesday and Thursday mornings and a return call will be made at that time.

We accept cash (please no $50 or $100 bills), Visa and MasterCard. 

The Rainier Room is a teaching environment and we want students and diners alike to have a positive experience. Parties of 8 or more will be divided into smaller groups.

 

Reservations are limited. We adjust capacity based on students experience.

If no slots are showing available we are full for those days. We fill up fast, the reservation system is working fine...
